Hi to All,

my company hired a new graphic designer so we've bought her a brand new Apple MacBook Pro 2021 with M1 processor MacOS Monterey and a CreativeCloud subscription. Now she have a strange issue with D-DIN fonts. Added this font to Mac fonts library are seen and usable from all programs installed on the Mac, included Photoshop! But not on Indesign. I've tried some solution that I've found over the net for adding fonts in every different mode, downloaded fonts from different sources ecc... but are not shows in Indesign available fonts.

Then I've tried to install CreativeCloud and Indesign on a windows 10 pc and...the issue is the same! D-DIN fonts are not shown on the list of inDesign fonts.

There is something that i don't know about this set of fonts and inDesign?

Thanks in advance

G'day

Indesign 17.2 has a number of bugs including a major issue with fonts not being recognised. See here: https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601180-adobe-indesign-bugs/suggestions/44970238-installed-font-missing-indesign-17-2-macos-12-3-m

Waiting for a fix from Adobe. In the meantime try rolling back to Indesign 17.1

Cheers

Thank you,

I've to go to version 17.0 to see all the D-DIN OTF fonts because with 17.1 I see only bold variant!

That's a bad issue and I've lost a lot of time on it. And my company already pay a lot of money monthly for the CC subscription...

What specific font family have you downloaded?

Is it OpenType, Type1, TrueType, etc?

Is there a filter turned on in the font list?
