Issue with InDesign Installer

I downloaded the latest version of InDesign for macOS, and succesfully opened the InDesign Installer. However once I get to the box which reads "Double-click the folder to install" and click the folder, nothing happens. There are no apprent changes to my computer nor to my Creative Cloud. Please let me know if there is there a step I'm missing or if I meed to install InDesign in a different way. Thank you.

You shouldn't have to download an installer, use the Creative Cloud App.

https://www.adobe.com/ie/creativecloud/desktop-app.html

 

You can then login to the App using your Adobe credentials and install the apps you require.
