Issue with page desplay in InDesign version 21.0.2 x64

I recently updated my InDesign app (version 21.0.2 x64 on Windows 11) and now when I open a file to edit it the text I'm editing will randomly disappear and the page goes white until I scroll to another page or back out of the document and go back into it. It seems like a buffering problem but I haven't had this issue with other versions. Any ideas on why this might be happening? Below is a screenshot of what I'm getting.

It's currently a widespread issue on Windows that's being discussed here (along with the undo problem):

https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/indesign-undo-history-clears-itself-without-user-action/m-p/15637631/page/6#M645156

It's currently under investigation, and there's no known solution at this point.

You might try to turn the GPU Acceleration either off or on or off and on or else on and off.

What happens after you experiment with that?

Thanks for the recommendation Mike. It looks like my "dual monitor" setup might be the issue. The GPU acceleration feature is not currently enabled (and I don't have the option to enable it because it's grayed out) and my monitor I'm testing it on has a display resolution of 1920 x 1200 max and it appears I need to have a monitor resolution of 2K or above?

This is what it says on Adobes page about GPU Performance in InDesign:

  • Display settings (To access the GPU feature on Windows, the monitor should have a resolution above 2K.)

Its a bit confusing because it says in the InDesign system requirements:

1024 x 768 display (1920 X 1080 recommended), HiDPI display support

Note: To use the InDesign Touch workspace, you must have a touch-screen-enabled tablet/monitor running Windows 10 or above (such as Microsoft Surface Pro 3) with the screen resolution set to 2160 x 1440 or more

Scalable UI: Minimum monitor resolution required is 1920 x 1080.

So at this point I'm not sure how to enable the GPU functionality.
