Issues font replacement cyrillic

Hi there,

I'm simply trying to replace the font pragmatica with another, same original paragraph style.

Part of the text goes right but some of it changes the letters and I can't see where's the difference and why it changes differently.

Down here the text, left side perfectly translated

Right size goes completely wrong

Anyone knows what can be wrong? thanks!!

That was not what I asked. Your experiment shows that the character encoding of pragmatica is not correct.

Fix it by replacing each character in turn with the proper character in Unicode encoding. Your local Arial should work just fine; after that, you can change your text to any (proper) font.

Is that font "pragmatica" a proper Unicode font? To check, select one of the characters and check in the Glyphs panel; does it actually identify it as a "Cyrillic small letter a"? (Or any other Cyrillic one, of course.)

Both the fonts support Cyrillic, pragmatica works pefectly but when I turn it in the new font (I just tried one more time to turn it into Arial) some of the text goes ok an some not
