Issues Opening InDesign

For about a month now, every time I try to open InDesign, the program shuts down before it even opens (the icon bounces two or three times on the dock, and the startup screen appears for a second.). The only way to fix this is to UNINSTALL THE SOFTWARE, REMOVING PREFERENCES. After reinstalling, it works for a few more days and then the issue returns.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Does anyone know how to resolve this?

The issue occurs on a Macbook Pro, 32GB, M1 Max, using Ventura 13.2.1.

Thanks in advance,
Max

Even if updating to 13.5 as suggested by @leo.r does not help then try rolling back the version of InDesign. The latest versions seem to have too much of these issues. I have personally reverted back to 18.4

Update to macOS 13.6 (but NOT 14) - it solved the issue for many users.

It might be worth removing InDesign using the Adobe Cleaner Tool and then doing a fresh install.
