Issues with Copying and Pasting Hyperlinks Between InDesign Documents

I have 2 documents, both with hyperlinks at certain points in the text.


If I want to copy text passages (with hyperlinks) on the 1st document & paste them into another (2nd document), the complete structure of the linking is lost.
Absurdly, links appear in the wrong places & these get completely mixed up.

If you've recently updated to ID 2025 - go back to ID 2024.
