JAGGETY, MOVING columns of text -- PLEASE FIX

Since the date to version 17, everytime I make a type or graphic change, parts of columns get jaggety and jump outside the columns.

This is incredibly hard to deal with, I have to refresh the page all the time, I am making errors because text is not where it's supposed to be.

PLEASE FIX ! ! ! !

How about Window interface scaling? I know in the past that InDesign has not liked anything but 100%.

Window or Windows?   Where do I find that?

Windows, sorry.

Right-click an empty space on the desktop and choose Display settings (or you can get there through Control Panel, I presume).

Hi Jodi:

I looked for the previous thread hoping to find additional clues but it's not associated with your current user name. I'm sorry I personally can't be of additional assistance, but hopefully another Community Expert will see this and will be able to offer some new ideas. I understand how frustrating this is for you, and I hope you find a solution.

In the meantime, you can also post a bug report here: https://indesign.uservoice.com/

This thread has hit the big three contibuting factors: video driver, GPU performance (Mac-only) and interface scaling. I'm not sure what else it could be. This isn't an issue most people are facing—it appears to be unique to your system.

Thank you

When I was first experiencing this a few months ago, I posted it then.

Quite a few people chimed in saying they were having the same issue.....

Ah. Try changing the interface scaling to small. Does that make the difference?

Can you please share a screen shot? And let us know your OS and specific InDesign version?

If you are using a Mac, try turning off GPU performance in the prefs.

Find out what brand your GPU card is and what version of drivers you are using. Go directly to the manufacturer's website and check to see if the drivers are up to date. OS updates don't always update the GPU drivers to the latest version.

See if that improves anything.

It's a Navida GPU and we did update our drivers very recently   😞
