July 23 InDesign Office Hours: AppleScript event handlers, upcoming breaking change

Developer Action Required:

 

Review all AppleScript-based event handlers in your workflows.

Inline handlers using globals, arguments, or helper functions should be refactored to use external .applescript files.

 

Keep logic self‑contained within the handler script to maintain compatibility with the modern framework.
