Keeping page numbering when going from facing pages to single

Hello

I hope, one of you will be able to help me on this one:

I have created a document with facing pages, to layout a brochure.

The page numbering on my master page is set up with the left page having the number in the left hand corner, and the right page having the number in the right hand corner.

The printer wants the finished .pdf to be single pages.

When I change that, the page numbering all goes to the left hand corner... having forced me to create new master pages.

But surely, there must be a simpler solution to keep my page numbering where it was.

What can I do?

Please, help if you can. Much appretiated

Regards,

Susanne

    You misunderstood the printer.

All he wanted was for the PDF to be exported properly, not in spreads.

I agree with Bob that that is the most likely scenario. Happens frequently.

Also note: don't worry that after exporting there is now no bleed on the inside/spine edge of each page in the PDF. Even though it looks odd, the bleed on the inside-edge isn't necessary.

Aaaaaaah... now, that was a bit embarrassing... I should have known...

But thank you very much for your help - and for a quick reply.
