Keeping type locked to Baseline grid when rotated 180 degrees

Help! I don't know how to do this and can't seem to find an answer.

I have set a couple equal columns of type, locked to the baseline grid and now need to rotate that entire item 180 degrees to fit into a production template, but my typesetting doesn't stay locked to the grid.

What's the right way to do this?

Thanks!

Thank you Peter Spier for your response. I see that I need to get more fluent with the Text Frame Options dialog box. It's the only place you can conduct such operations, although I wish these controls  lived in a pallette somehow. Problem solved, I hope my edification is useful to another luddite. Happy Holidays!

I consider the Text Frame Options dialog one of the most important features in InDesign. As a teacher of introductory InDesign classes, I put a lot of emphasis on learning it in the first weeks of the class. I doubt that it will be reformatted as a panel so I'd learn to live with it. (Beginners tend to create one frame in the background, and then put another text frame on top of it so I mention it frequently.)

Baseline grid only exists in horizontal. However, it can be customized per the textframe. Have you tried Cmd+B textframe options and setting custom baseline? Maybe it will work when rotated 90 degrees.

Well, I need to rotate locked columns in a text box 180 degrees to fit on a package template - like a folded panel.
Anybody know the preferred method for this? I'm sure it's not outline the type and rotate...
Thanks all , will try above

Baseline grids can be set at either the document level or at the text frame level. As Mike suggests, if you are going to rotate the frame, setting the grid at the frame level would be the way to go.

sorry  - InDesign 2023. Actually I think I figured out a problem - I was using a standfirst with a larger type/point size combo and it seemed to throw it off. I just outlines it and took it out of the container, offset the first line and re-placed the standfirst in the right position (all upside down) and it seemed to work ok... but yeah, I think the point size threw off the grid
