Keyboard shortcut not working

Hi, Dear Friends!Why is the KB SC not working for my paragraph style?It would seem that there is no conflict, and even if there was I would like mine to override that of ID. How can I get this to work?Thank you, and have a good day!Susan Flamingo

Thanks for sharing the screenshot! As the expert said, shortcuts don't work due to OS-level conflicts or if the focus isn't in a text frame when pressing it. Also, InDesign doesn't override system or app-level reserved shortcuts.

Could you let me know your OS and InDesign version, and confirm if this happens across all documents? Try changing the shortcut to something simpler like Ctrl+Shift+1 temporarily and check if that works. Also, make sure your cursor is inside a text frame with some text selected before applying the shortcut.
