l turns into i after 2 f's

When typing an "l" after "ff" it turns into an "i". So when I type "Affligem" is shows "Affiigem". Any ideas as to why this is and how to fix it?

In design version 14.0.1

This must be an error in the font. Quick solution: disable Ligatures for your text.

It is not unusual for a combination such as "ffl" to automatically replaced with a custom drawn glyph -- a ligature -- so it looks better. Some fonts only contain ligatures for common combinations such as "fi" and "fl", others for far more combinations (all at the discretion of the font designer).

However, proper replacement depends on the correct codes in the font. It looks like that's gone wrong here. I can see a few correct "fl" ligatures and disabling Ligatures will also affect those, but it's better to have a consistent look.

The preferred solution (but it might take some time waiting for a fixed version) is to report this to the font foundry where you purchased the font.

Sorry for not replying sooner, I've been otherwise occupied. Turning off ligatures selectively for this one word only solved the job. Thanks for the support
