Lab colour displaying differently in a single Indesign document

I am doing a layout using a LAB colour swatch and the colour is displaying differently on different pages of the same document. Other colour libraries – CMYK, RGB, Pantones – are fine, but this is totally weird.

Random thought: does it display differently depending on whether the page has transparency? Check the transparency blend space, it's going to need to be RGB for reasonably consistent display of Lab colour,

Thanks, Eugene – per my reply above, it does, and using the Flattener Preview I found the transparent object. Mystery solved!
