Landscape image inserting as portrait

Hello, 

I've saved a pdf as jpegs and now need to insert the jpeg into my indesign file. The pdf and jpeg both view as landscape.

When inserting the jpeg the image scales to portrait - loosing all proportions. Help! Is there a setting ticked that i'm unaware of? 

I have inserted the pdf and that comes into the doc landscape. Just the jpeg that is defaulting to portrait.
