Language attribute in imported text

I have noticed, that Indesign marks some portions of imported text from word file as "Language: Arabic". It is mostly text containing diacritic symbols. Can anyone explain, why it is so?

And yes, I have latest version of ID. Windows 10, also latest version.

      Hi AntsTuur,

      I think this is a bug in the Word import filter of InDesign.

       

      Are you using docx files? Then try with Word doc files.

      When that happens with doc files then try docx files.
