Large TOC in multiple collumns, on multiple pages

Hi all,

I was wondering if it is possible to make a TOC in multiple collumns on multiple pages?

The way we work now is with lots of seperate TOC's and hide the unnecessary parts. Thank you

TOCs can be multiple columns and across multiple pages. What exactly is the problem you are having?

I'm going to take a wild guess...

You have multiple chapters and each chapter has styles unique to that chapter. Then you are creating one massive front-of-book TOC that combines the others.

Even close?

Yes, once you place a TOC frame, you can manipulate and format it in almost any way ID permits. Multiple columns and flowing across multiple pages should be simple.

Your TOC line items will have to have formatting that accommodates the narrower margins.

Yes. Did you try Layout > Table of Contents?
