Line Tool Issues

Hello I am currently having an issue with the line tool where it defaults to 0 stroke and shows up at a different place on the page than drawn.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

If you are on Mac - disable Magnet app. 

Hi Jake:

This sounds like issues with defaults.

Changing the default line width is easy: select the Line tool, but make sure no lines are selected and choose your desired default width. All future lines added to this file will be at this new default width.  

I'm guessing you are inadvertently applying an object style with positioning values when the line moves to a new location.
