I am not sure what is causing this, idk if it is my laptop bugging out or indesign, however, it won't go away unless I zoom in, but when I zoom out again the lines appear again. please help me, I'm not techy :((

I have tried saving and going back into the document, I've tried exporting as PDF, and different display performances to no avail it won't go away.

Have you been setting negative/reduced leading values and/or baseline shift to pack your display type tightly?

Sometimes, when you try to really scrunch up the space between lines of tightly packed type, display anomalies can happen. Does the type print as you expect? Or is this solely a display issue? If you're getting proper output, that helps isolate what type(s) of problems you may be having here.

Depending on your system, you may be also be able to go into InDesign system preferences and turn off GPU aceleration and get better results. This can clean up a lot of display anomalies you may find when working with InDesign and other Adobe graphics applications.

Hope this helps,

Randy

Do you have those lines in InDesign or when viewing PDF?

What platform, OS and InDesign versions and what PDF viewer?
