Hi.

For the longest time I've been trying to find an anwser to this problem.

We have a collection of pdf files where one of them is our index file (IM-00)

When used on pc/mac we can easily jump from pdf to pdf using a "hyperlink" and in the destination settings for the hyperlink we tell it to jump to page 01 in another .indd file.

When I then transfer the pdf files to my iPad the hyperlink jumps to page 01 in the document where we created the link, and not to page 01 in the other file.

I made this image to show how the files needs to connect.

Do any of you know how I can get this to Work ??

I'm using InDesign CC 2017

The thing that I know is that the files needs to be placed in the same folder, and I have done that.

I don't believe it's possible. I'm not an engineer, but from what I've read, mobile operating systems don't have the same kinds of file systems as more mature desktop/laptop operating systems. Also, apps on mobile devices are either free or very low cost which is not an encouragement to developers to create more advanced solutions.

As has been frequently mentioned on this forum, interactivity in PDFs on mobile device is a "crap shoot," and it's best to keep things simple.
