Hello,

I would like to link a Microsoft Access database in InDesign but i was not able to find any information and/or tutorial online. I only found how to link Excel spreadsheets which is not the same thing.

Need help 😞

Thanks!

There is no way to link an access database to InDesign. Only a spreadsheet with the DataMerge feature.

Access can link to an Excel file using the External Data tab.

The Excel file can be linked to ID.

If you need to work with multiple tables in Excel, you might want to look into using a Data Model.

Hi @HungryNico ,

Thank you for reaching out. As suggested by Mike, we don't have this option available in InDesign yet. However, let me assure you, I'll share your feedback with the Engineering team, and you can do that too, either voting for an existing request here or posting a new one.

Thanks

Rishabh
