Loaded fonts not showing up in InDesign 18.1

When I activate Adobe Fonts they show up in Illustrator and Photoshop but not in InDesign. This is incredibly frustrating. I have uninstalled InDesign (including preferences) and reinstalled with no change. How do I fix this? Thanks.
