It takes 2 min for me to save a document with 10 pages few pictures and the size of 8,2 Mb.

Any other that has the same problem?

Dear Rishabh. Thnaks a lot for reaching out. I have disconnected the prefight - but as one said with this MAC you should be running the preflight. I have not done all the unstalling - yet. I am not confident by doing it by myself. It works so g´fare and when the holidays are over in continiue the right person in my locale helpcenter will be back. and i will ask him to unstalle the adobe and the mac OS MONTEREY. reinsalled the system and the adobe. Others had adviced me to do so. Thanks an have a nice day.

If you are sending the job to a printer, I highly recommend using preflight. I reset my preferences and it worked to speed up saving.

Follow the steps in the video and see if that helps.

Are the pictures embedded? Or are the pictures linked to a remote server (and you're on Windows?). Also try doing a Save-As (rather than a plain Save) to delete the document's history -- this can shave many megabytes off the document, which makes it save much quicker.

Dear Peter. Thanks a lot for quit reply. I ahve a brand new MAC and was looking ofrward to quiker workflow in indesign - but unfrotunately i experience the uppersite.

I work in MAC. I use place image in indesign, the pictures are in the same folder as the indesign document. When using plain save it is quick. when using Save as it takes long time.
