Lost all of my work without don't know why!

I had 7 pages made. They are advertisements for my job. THye just dissappeared when I opened them and recovery is grey. What happened?

I already remade them, but I never checked the layers.

You'll have to give more details about your situation in order for anybody to help. What exact operating system and what version of InDesign are you using? Did you do frequent saves while working on the ads? Are you working on your hard drive or on a server of some kind? Did this happen with a single document or are you unable to save anything? Have you tried turning off GPU Performance in your InDesign preferences just in case this is actually a "screen thing" (I know that is an extremely remote possibility but it's certainly worth a try).

Sonoma 14.5 OS. Yes, I typically save, but I had health problems that did make me distracted. Working on my hard drive. It only happened to the one file. I've tried resetting preferenes in the past, but not for this. I already remade the ads so I can't really test any of that.
