Lost application bar

Somehow I no longer have the Application Bar across the top of my INDD desktop. I don't see have to bring it back. Can someone help?

I just randomly selected Window>Control and it reappeared. I was ready to
try anything.

That didn't do it. I saw Reset Essentals. which brought up a panel on the
right side with some of the same tools, but I am looking to get the bar
across the top back.

Are you on a Mac? I know the application frame is separate on that platform and can be toggled on and off... but I have no idea of the specifics.

Quick solution, reset your workspace under Window | Workspace | Reset [name].

 

Or select any existing workspace, then reconfigure and save it.
