Mac Indesign 21.4.1 Undo/Redo does not work. Plus stability issues. Never had stability and lagging issues with Indesign until last couple updates. Very frustrating and complicates my workflow..

Mac Indesign 21.4.1 Undo/Redo does not work. Plus stability issues. Never had stability and lagging issues with Indesign until last couple updates. Very frustrating and complicates my workflow. Need to force quite often as well. Bad update. I am thinking about reinstalling earlier versions.

    My redo undo has been fixed, but I am experiencing major lag since the last update. When I move from one document to another, it takes much longer than it would before. Am I the only one experiencing this?

    I am having the exact same issues. Apparently Adobe are aware of the problem. So frustrating indeed.

    Sorry to hear you're experiencing the same issue. We understand how disruptive this can be.

    Could you please confirm your macOS version and try resetting your InDesign preferences by following the steps at the bottom of this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/setting-preferences.html. After that, restart InDesign (or your Mac) and check if the issue persists.

    As we haven't been able to reproduce this issue internally yet, it would really help our investigation if you could share the requested diagnostic information by following the instructions in this tracking thread: https://community.adobe.com/questions-671/indesign-21-2-undo-greyed-out-and-history-panel-blank-on-macos-tahoe-and-ventura-1551926?postid=7543173#post7543173. If possible, please also include a screen recording demonstrating the issue so we can better understand the behavior and help identify the root cause.

    Could you please confirm your macOS version? Also, please try resetting your InDesign preferences manually by following the video at the bottom of this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/setting-preferences.html, then restart InDesign (or your Mac) and let us know if the issue persists.

    UPDATE: Reinstalled version 21.3 and it’s a lot better. I’ll be staying away from these updates for a while.
