i need to take an idesign template off of a mac and transfer it to my PC. Will it be compatiable?

also if I use indesign on a PC and i send it to someone with a mac will they be able to download the file??

    Yes, the two are completely cross-compatible. But, you must be using the same OpenType fonts on both the Mac and the Windows computer. Avoid old PostScript Type 1 fonts. TrueType fonts might be OK; might not. Definitely organize around OpenType fonts. You will also want the same version of InDesign on both sides. Really, it works well.
