macOS 10.13.4 and latest ID CC 2018 shortcut keys not working

Hey gang,

I have two 13" MacBook Pros from recent puchase. Both are running ID CC 2018 (13.1) on macOS 10.13.4 and both are exhibiting a problem with shortcuts like holding down the Option, Command, and Spacebar for common operational shortcuts in InDesign use. For example, they cannot CMD+SHIFT+drag to scale a frame because the CMD key seems not to work. Anything I can check on?

    Hi, Mike,

Working fine on my MacBook Pro with InDesign CC 2018.1 and macOS 10.13.5.

It's probably conflicting software: Reboot. Disable startup software and open InDesign first and test again. If it works then, observe carefully as you add new software to the mix. Oftentimes, its browser extension or virus software or password protection software which is grabbing keystrokes.

    Steve,

Your were right: I found and paused Webroot Security's Secure Keyboard something or other and everything started working again. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
