Main menu drop down (File, Edit etc) not expanding fully

When I'm working on my secondary screen, InDesign works the same as on my small screen i.e. not showing drop down menus fully. Instead, there are arrows on top and on the bottom of each drop down.
There is enough space and there are only about 3-5 items not shown, but I have to click those arrows every time (They aren't scrollable) I need to change some settings. It is really frustrating.

This behaviour is unique to InDesign. Photoshop for example changes to fully expanded drop downs when I change screens.

Is there an option to change/resize dropdown menus?

Hi @severina26492087,

Thank you for reaching out and reporting the issue. We would request you to please check the below settings-

1. Under Preferences>User Interface Scaling> Check the UI Sizing.

2. Under Display Settings> Check the Resolution, Scaling, and Primary display is set to default for both monitors.
If the above steps don't help, please try the below steps-

Right Click on the InDesign Shortcut and check the below settings.

Hello, I'm Having similar issues with Illustratior. Even after I reverted back to the previous version i had installed this terrible menu user experience is stuck on. i could not find any setting to change this. I ALso tried the above solutions posted.

Why would adobe not make these scroll-able. If you shrink them let me scroll. the menus are so large it takes so long to click a tiny arrow 30x when it used to be a second & 2 clicks.

please help. this is driving me insane & not something that needed to be updated. Also baffled that installing the previous version did not solve this
