Mask a video in Indesign - Is there a work around?

When exporting an Indesign file that has a movie in it, Acrobat always places the video on top, making it impossible to mask it or put something over it. Is anyone aware of some workaround for this maybe?

The workaround is, unfortunately, to walk away as quickly as you can from this project.

Video in a PDF? I cannot advise you of any way that will not end with disappointment.

Thanks Bob, you just confirmed my thoughts on this. However, it was for a website presentation purpose only, so no man overboard yet.

Well, if you're that desperate to use it for a presentation that only you will have to operate you could try to do it as a fixed layout epub, but seriously, and I ask this of anyone that wants to use InDesign for this, why not just use the right tool?

There are dedicated applications for this Keynote and Powerpoint are the top two, of course, and while they have their quirks, they work. Google Slides is another you can try.
