Master Pages Textbox: Why don't my other pages have text boxes?

Greetings,

I created text boxes on my master pages, but the rest of the pages in the document are not receiving text boxes. I'm just trying to create a book with only writing in it, so the text boxes fill up the margin spaces. Any clues as to why the text boxes aren't carrying over to my normal pages? Thank you!
