Mayor problems exporting to PDF

Hello,

Since this mornig i can export to PDF , indesign is bombed. And even when i click on pages indesign witll stop;( I nver head any issues with indesign but this is not looking very good!!!

Your InDesign file seems to be corrupted. Try to use his script that can create IDML files without opening the indd file

  1. Download the script: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wkjecgr75fe8wnb/Export_IDML.jsx?dl=0
  2. Install it in /Applications/Adobe InDesign 2024/Scripts/Scripts Panel
  3. Open InDesign but do not try to open your file
  4. In InDesign, go to the Window menu > utilities > Scripts. In this panel, open the Application folder, you will see the script.
  5. Double click on it and, locate the problematic file when asked and select it
  6.  You should see the IDML file at the same location than the original file

Please note that there is absolutely no guarantee about the result and that I am not the author of the script. I use it when I get this kind of problem.

If a document is not behaving well then try 

File>Export 

Choose IDML

Open the IDML in InDesign
Save the file as a new InDesign file with a new name
See if the issue persists.

Try resetting your preferences:

Windows: Start InDesign, and then press Shift+Ctrl+Alt. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
macOS: While pressing Shift+Option+Command+Control, start InDesign. Click Yes when asked if you want to delete preference files.
A dialog will appear asking to delete the InDesign Preferences, select 'Yes' on this dialog.

    Try the save as IDL format, but indesign wont even open and is bombing from the idl file

        Thanks for your quick response
        Indesign 19.1
        Mac Sonoma 14.3

        The proble started this morning and tomorrow we supposed tot send our pricelist;(
        The weird thing is if you click on pages indesign is complete bombed!!!
