How do I opt out/avoid/unsee/get rid of/never see again thise rather patronising messages?
If I wanted to collaborate effortly with my editors I'd first show them where the kettle is.
I don't think InDesign does that.

Could you let us know if the message reappears after you dismiss it once, or if it only shows up the first time? That will help us better understand the behavior.
