Mi Indesign 2026 me dice que no puede abrir documentos .indb en forma de libros. Es decir, no loa abre y no puedo tener acceso al libro, sólo a los archivos independientes.

No puedo abrir los documentos libros (.indb) en la versión de Indesig 2026. No abre ni los archivos recién creados con esa misma versión ni archivos anteriores que antes pude hacer y ver. Manda un mensaje que el documento x.indb no se puede abrir como archivo de libro.

Did you give InDesign full disk access?

System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access

If you're asking how to enable Full Disk Access for Adobe InDesign on macOS:

Open System Settings.
Go to Privacy & Security.
Select Full Disk Access.
Find Adobe InDesign in the list and turn it ON.
If InDesign isn't listed, click +, authenticate with your Mac password/Touch ID, and add the InDesign application.
Quit and reopen InDesign afterward.

Thanks, it happened with any book file, but I already solved it with Mike Witherell's help; it was an InDesign permissions issue

What version of InDesign 2026 are you using? 21.3 or newer would be a good answer.

What operating system are you on?

Are you trying to open files in cloud storage or local hard drive?

Thanks Mike for replying. I'm using version 21.3 for Mac. The operating system is Tahoe 26.4.1 and the files are in Dropbox, in the cloud.
