Migrate InDesign files to Creative cloud storage

Hi all,

 

I have Creative Cloud subscription, my company decided to shut down on premises windows server. All my InDesign file links pointed to the server. I have two options, one is to copy the InDesign files from server to my local drive on iMac, second one can I buy creative cloud storage and migrate the files on to the cloud account. Please advise

    If you have plenty of space on your hard drive for all of your InDesign files and links, and you aren't collaborating with any other designers or editors, there's no reason you couldn't use your local drive as long as you routinely back those files up. However, if you routinely share files with others, I would recommend using a cloud service, but I would suggest Dropbox over Creative Cloud storage. Dropbox is very user friendly and provides file versioning, and you'll find a lot more people who use that versus Creative Cloud storage.
