Hi @pdhh19 , The InDesign Pantone .acb swatch files have not been updated since CS6 and Pantone 2201 U was not included in those libraries—it is a relatively new color. Adobe is going to stop installing Pantone .acb files in new versions, but you should still be able to manually copy them to: Applications⁩ ▸ ⁨Adobe InDesign 20XX⁩ ▸ ⁨Presets⁩ ▸ ⁨Swatch Libraries⁩.

Also, you might find this link helpful, it contains InDesign swatch charts for the Pantone Coated and Uncoated solid ink libraries. The charts are searchable and you can drag and drop a swatch into another ID doc. These are not .acb libraries, all of the swatches are contained in the chart documents:

There are an extra 637 metallic swatches included in the coated chart. 2201 U is in the uncoated chart.

The contract between Pantone and Adobe has ended. Adobe has recently removed all Pantone Libraries from its applications.

ID has not had an updated Pantone library in some time. You can subscribe to the full and updated set from Pantone, I believe.

But you really don't need it. Simply create a spot color swatch named 'Pantone 2201-U' and set the colors to be close to that, or look up the equivalent mix. (It's RGB #00afd7.)

Since this is a spot color, it will be determined by the ink used on the press. Neither ID nor your printer care how the color is displayed on screen; it will just generate a spot plate to be used with that ink. You could use a hot pink or mustard yellow if you liked, and it would still print in that deep aqua. (But doing the close match on the screen is a good idea.)

You can do this with any spot color, whether you have the 'official' swatch from a plug-in or not.
