Indesign 2022 I don't have the menu next to the little home icon at the top left. How do I get it back?

Already figured it out. It was a Mac preference, and I changed that and the menu is back.

Hi @lisad49959599,

I can see that the menu options are appearing in your screenshot. Could you confirm exactly which option is missing from the menu? Are you unable to see the entire top bar, or is it just a specific option that's not showing? Could you describe a bit more? I’d be happy to help!

I'm missing the most top bar. The cross etc.

Hi @lisad49959599,

Got it! Could you confirm which version of InDesign you’re using and your macOS details? Also, can you check if the Application Frame is turned ON or OFF? You can find this under the Window menu in InDesign. Looking forward to your update.

What was the solution? I am also having that problem. I just switched to a Mac from a PC. The top menu is missing on InDesign, not even the 'File' drop down is available.
