Move word into InDesign

I'm working on designing documents using InDesign, by transferring content from Word. However, the content size in Word is very large, and transferring the text manually requires more time and effort.

My question is: Is there a method or tool that can help me transfer content from Word to InDesign more quickly?

File>place and shift click on page one of the InDesign file. That will autoflow the content. For more control, select show options when placing the file.
