Mulitple Page PDF to Multiple Boxes in one document
The place tool is failing when I place my multiple page pdfs into a template in InDesign. I have been using this method and template for years. I have an InDesign page with multiple graphic boxes (all the same size) that I place artwork (all the same matching sizes of the graphic boxes) from a multi-page pdf. When I use the "Place" function and choose "All" pages of the pdf in Input Options, it only places the first page of the pdf in the first box I click and forgets all the other pages. I can place "All" pages without a problem just randomly on the Indesign template but it doesn't allow me to use the pre-generated and specifically placed graphic boxes I have on the page.
I have started a fresh template with new graphic boxes to test if something got corrupted in my original template but the results are the same.
The java script multiple pdf placing tool does not fix this issue. I've only recently tried that and it doesn't do what I am trying to accomplish and have accomplished for many years with InDesign.
