It would be great the possibility to select different words in the same text (I mean in different places), just to change them with a single action!

Of course this is possible, if I understand your question correctly,  with Find/Change. Click GREP. Fill in the Search for-field, like this: missing|sounds|want

Then click on Change design, select character style Italic, then click Change all. Done!

With find you can select only on text per step, but not multiple selections, as text can in InDesign only be selected in a piece.

Multiple text selections are not possible in InDesign.

But apply a character style and change it if aou want to change their apearance with one command.

"Multiple text selections are not possible in InDesign."

OK this is the ultimate answer, thanks. Sometimes NO is a good answer, thank you a lot

Perhaps I'm missing something, but that sounds very much like you want to use 'Edit > Find/Change...', and then 'Change All'

no, I mean thet in your sentence, i'd like to select e.g. the words "missing", "sounds" and "want" at the same time!

I mean DIFFERENT words in order to apply e.g an italic...

Thanks a lot for your attention

Much as that might be useful, that would require a significant change in the way text is handled. Every word would have to be its own object rather than a flow of text.

On balance, that doesn't seem like a sensible way of handling text in InDesign.
