My deleted element is still showing up in my project under missing links

Hi All, 

I deleted an element in my document (it was a sound file).  I'm still getting "missing link" warnings every time I open the project, even though the file and frame are long gone.  is this a bug or am I missing something?     Thanks!

Could be minor corruption in your file - try exporitng as IDML, and opening the exported file.

    Thanks for this.  that did it.  I had to completely delete the original file before I could resave it.  If I tried to overwrite the original, the error would still appear.

    A good fix for this is to save the new one under a revised name.
