Indesign 19.4 X64 cannot open the previous low version of the Indesign file, such as CS6
The prompt has been opened, its production flashes, and it has not been opened.
It is normal to open the files for nearly two years.

I have completed the test:
Uninstalled 19.4, reinstall 19.3,
19.3 can open the old version of the file.
Install 19.4, 19.4 cannot open the old version of the file.

Hi @dublove ,

could you provide a sample document from InDesign CS6 where the issue is showing?

I'd like to test that with my German version of InDesign 2024 19.4.

Are you on macOS or Windows?

19.3 can open the old version of the file.
Install 19.4, 19.4 cannot open the old version of the file.

Does it happen with all files or only a specific one?

If it does happen to all files, then it sounds like yet another bug in 19.4, which apparently only happens under certain conditions (maybe specific to the Chinese version of InDesign and/or Windows).

That is strange. Does exporting to IDML help?
