Hey there, I'm trying to place an Excel sheet into my indesign document. When I attempt to do so, I get the error message "Cannot place this file. No filter found for requested operation." I've tried looking for the reason this is happening, and google and Adobe search have failed me. Please, I could use some assistance.

Thanks!

Hi @Timothy5FE3,

Are you sure it is an Excel file created using MS Excel application? Also make sure if it's properly closed before placing. This error means that InDesign is somehow not recognising it as a valid excel file. So either the file is corrupt or it's not created as per what InDesign expects.
