Hi-

Need some assistance if anyone can help. I have a MAC OS HIGH SIERRA laptop and I am a graphic designer. I am unable to update to the latest versions of AI, PS, InDesign because they are not compatible to the latest versions. What are my options in updating those programs?

Here are the system requirements listed for always the latest version of InDesign:

https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/system-requirements.ug.html

Here for previous versions:

https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/system-requirements/earlier-versions.html

The contents of both pages will change in a couple of weeks when InDesign 2022 will be released.

Well, yes, I agree.

But the game changes on the day a client provides documents in the latest version and demands that you send them back in the latest version after you finished your work.

If you want to upgrade to something earlier than Big Sur (Mojave?), this might help—it has download links to older versions of OSX:

Why not just update the operating system?

For those asking why the OP needs to upgrade...InDesign 2021 has been out for a year and may need to be on the most up to date version for any collaboration.

None, if you stay at High Sierra. CC2020 is your max if your laptop is not able to upgrade to at least Mojave.

Is there a particular reason you need to update? CC2020 is still very much a viable version.
