No Dialog for Export

I want to do a Export to PDF (Interactive), but when I do the picures that were clear in InDesign are blurry in the PDF.  All the info I find about this talks about the dialog box for the Export, but I do not get that when I click on Export, I only get the save as screen to make it PDF... What am I missing?

@Lindsay3332702518cz First check the resolution of the images used before importing them into indesign. Check if they are of good quality.

If you don't see what I just recorded here, then Robert's advice to reset your preferences is your best next step.

Thank you for your response. It will not let me reply in the forum.

When I click export, it only takes me to the Save As part and skips that first part that you show. Is there a way to get that back?

Thanks,
Lindsay

First off: Michael Ambroise did make a valid point. You should make sure that your images are of high enough resolution, and while you're at it, you should make sure that InDesign knows where your linked image files are.  Go to your Links panel (Window -> Links) and make sure that your image files are correctly linked, and that the resolution is what you're expecting.

However, if all is well with the linked file and its effective PPI, you're going to want to reset your preferences. This is going to mess with any customizations you've done to your windows, panels, or keyboard shortcuts.  The way I like the best is (assuming you're working on a Windows machine) is to quit InDesign, then restart the program, and immediately hold down Control, Alt, and Shift, until you see a little dialog that asks you if you want to reset your preferences. Say "Yes" and it should restore your install of InDesign to its defaults, which should cause your Export dialog to appear.

The complete instructions (including backing up your old prefs, replacing prefs on a Mac, YouTube videos showing you how, etc.) can be found here.

Can you show screenshot of the Export dialog you see?

You can try and trash / reset preferences.
