Question

No success: Dragging cells starting from the first row?

This issue seems to have been raised before, but ultimately failed and was abandoned.

I need a prompt to appear when cells are not dragged starting from the first row.
For example: If you drag starting from the second row, an error message will appear.

@dublove  Do you mean:

(A) you want to prompt the user *as soon as they select the table cells*?

or (B) you want a script to determine if the selected cells contain both HEADER and FOOTER type cells?

or (C) something else?

Hi m1b.

I want users to drag and select starting from the first row.
If not, prompt the user: "Please drag and select starting from the first row".

Thank you.

Consider this sequence of events:

(1) user selects the cells

(2) user runs the script,

(3) the script tells them they need to select starting from the first row.

Is this what you had in mind?
