Not all page numbers showing

I have a new document with 5 pages.

I put page number text boxes on the Master 2-page spread.

The page number shows on pages 1, 4 and 5, but not on 2 or 3.

There are no boxes of any kind obscuring the page number location on any of the pages.

I have the layer with the page number text boxes at the top of the layer stack.

I could not find any online assistance with this.

You have to set a text frame with a page number marker:

on the top most layer
outside the margins
on every master/parent page.

5-page document? How do you want to print it? Normally are numbers which can divide by 4.

Does your Pages Panel show that all pages have the correct Master (Parent) page applied? Please post a picture of your Pages Panel.

For a double sided document, a Master page has a left and right page. You need to put the number on both pages (left and right) on the Master (Parent, as they are called now). And then make sure that Master is applied to all the pages you want. Is this all oke and still not working? Can you share some screen shots?
