Objects get deselected after ungrouping in InDesign 2026(21.0)

Hello,

I don't know if anyone is experiencing this but when I go to ungroup items, it deselects everything. This started happening when I updated to 2026. Anyone else notice this? Please let me know how to fix this so I can sleep at night.

The issue has been resolved. This was the post on the bug tracker.

The fix of the issue is now available in the latest InDesign 2026(v21.0.1.006). We recommend you upgrade to the latest version for the fix.

If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application, click on the context menu on the top right, and click on Check for App Updates.

Saaame glad a fix is in the works. Funny to realize how many times you do something you take completely for granted, and every time it breaks it's suddenly a full stop on your flow.
