Old Crashing Is Back! after Update to ID 14.0.2

When working on charts, I insert the cursor, type the number "4", and the document crashes.

I use Font Explorer X Pro v 6.0.5

I have cleaned the System and App font caches.

Zapped the PRAM.

Save file to an .idml file and reopened and saved as .indd file.

Deleted page in question, and re-flowed the text.

What the?

We have released InDesign CC2019.0.2 with lot of stability fixes. I would recommend you to upgrade to latest version as it is more robust.

If you still face this issue even after updating, please submit the crash report to us. (Guidelines to submit crash are available at https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/submit-crash-reports.html)

Also, please send the following information to santalwa@adobe.com :

    • Error snapshot or video recording of the issue?
    • Is(Are) the issue related to a specific document(s)/asset(s)? If Yes, Can you please provide the document(s)/asset(s)? Please package the entire document(To package the document, Go to File -> Package)

Have you tried resetting the InDesign Preferences?

I just did. Same thing is happening. I even Apple Time Machine'd back to my previous version of InDesign 2019. To start this complex chart from scratch is just too much for me. I'm getting too old for this.

BTW. What are these Crash Reports good for if not to pinpoint where the problem is?
