Suddenly in InDesign, it is only possible to undo three times; likewise, the history palette only records 3 actions. There don't seem to be any issues with RAM and space on the computer. This seems to have occurred after the update to InDesign 21.1. The operating system is Windows 11 Pro.

Thanks for reporting this and sorry to hear that you have come across this issue. This was a known issue in InDesign 21.1 where the undo history was limited, and the product team has fixed it in the latest InDesign 21.2 update. Please open the Creative Cloud Desktop app, go to All apps, update InDesign to the latest version, and then test again.
Once you’ve updated, let me know if the undo history is working as expected.
