When a file is open in InDesign and computer goes to sleep, upon waking from sleep, file does not apppear but the tab for file is there and I can highlight text and graphic boxes but file does not appear. I must close file tab and reopen file for it to appear.

Hi @default86zo5p88es69,

Thanks for the details shared so far. Could you please confirm the exact InDesign 2026 version you're using, for example 21.1 or a different build? I tested this behavior on macOS Tahoe on my end and wasn't able to reproduce the issue, so it would be helpful to know if updating to macOS Tahoe makes any difference for you.

If you're continuing on Sequoia for now, could you also take a screenshot of the document just before the system goes to sleep, and then another screenshot immediately after you wake the machine, showing the first state of the document as it appears? Please share both images so we can better understand and take this further.

Looking forward to your update.

Abhishek
